PEREGRINE JOURNEYS: The ancient Romans referred to a “foreigner” as a peregrinus in Latin, which eventually would become pellegrino in Italian and “pilgrim” in English. Each of our three Peregrine Journeys will transform you from an inquisitive foreigner and brave pilgrim into the confident and rightful heir to Rome that you already are. You will consummate an interested but dispossessed view from afar with a falcon-like focus on your own birthright as a conscious and self-possessed heir of our shared human cultural heritage. Each Peregrine Journey itinerary is either 7 or 10 days in duration. Each Journey’s itinerary anticipates walking an average of about 5 miles (8 Km) per day.
